The Victoria Park Hub

Programs & Services

Our Victoria Park HUB is located in the city’s East End and offers a variety of programs and services.

Community Engagement

This program offers a wide range of ways to develop skills and take part in training opportunities. If you want to give back to your community or learn more about how to get the most out of life in Canada, stop by to talk to our Community Engagement worker or check out the calendar of activities on our website.

Action for Neighbourhood Change (ANC)

The heart of a neighbourhood is its community. Action for Neighbourhood Change is a community development strategy that has been implemented across the City of Toronto. We work with local residents to identify shared priorities, plan collective community action and initiate positive change.

HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters) at Working Women Community Centre is a free home-based education program that empowers mothers with young children to connect with their communities, gain new skills and build confidence. Mothers are recognized as their children’s first and best educators, and receive training and support from other mothers to deliver a curriculum based on the needs of children to become school-ready. This program is for parents with children ages 3 to 5 years. HIPPY gives parents the opportunity to play, learn, bond and grow with their children.
