Conversation Club

Practice your conversational English skills in a fun and friendly group that meets weekly.  This group is supported by a volunteer and is open to anyone that wants to get involved in practicing English.

Thursday Fun Club

Hub Orientation

Are you curious about the Victoria Park Hub and want to check us out?  Come by anytime on your own, or join a group of other curious neighbours and local residents for the Hub Orientation.  Held twice per month, the orientation session includes a tour, presentation and Q & A section.  You can also find out about what it means to be a volunteer during the orientation.  Please call the front desk to find out when this month’s sessions are scheduled, or check out the calendar.

Prenatal Program

A partnership between Aisling Child Discoveries, VP Hub and Toronto Public Health, the Growing Healthy Together program supports moms through their pregnancy with helpful information, resources and connections.  Call Kaladevi Karunananthan for information on how to connect with the course coordinators.

Gentle Yoga and Gentle Movement

Generously funded through a foundation connected with United Way Toronto, these classes are designed for people who experience barriers to participation in regular yoga or fitness classes.  Class size is limited, and you must register.  Call Kaladevi Karunananthan at 416-750-9600 ext. 204 for more information.  One class runs Monday and one class is held on Wednesday.  Classes are taught by a professional instructor with a background in health and wellness.

Early Years Programs

We host a number of Early Years programs for parents and for parents and their children 0 – 6 in partnership with Ontario Early Years Centre and also with Toronto Public Health.  These currently include Peer Nutrition and this fall, Living and Learning with Baby.  Check out our calendar or call the front desk to find out what programs are planned or being offered.
