We stand with the Filipino community

We at the Working Women Community Centre are heartbroken by the tragic events that took place during the Lapu Lapu Day Block Party in Vancouver.

Our hearts are with the victims, their families, and the entire Filipino community. No one should ever feel unsafe.

We condemn violence in all its forms and reaffirm our commitment to fostering a community rooted in respect, safety, and solidarity.

We offer our sincerest condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.
